He is currently the Director of Hong Kong Talent Engage. He was an Executive Vice President of Lai Sun Group, leading its hotels and catering arm. He also served as the former Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board and a highly successful executive in a multinational company.

Mr. Lau holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto in Canada.
