As Founder and CEO of ChopValue, Felix Böck is responsible for a global network of decentralized Microfactories on a mission to make the circular economy the norm. The parent brand MVP (Microfactory Venture Platform) aims to expand the responsibility of turning 'waste to resource' to different material streams in urban and industrial environments.

Böck's previous and ongoing work involves engineering design, research initiatives, and scientific knowledge transfer journals, including adaptations for the bamboo industry. He has created content for books on the industrialization of bamboo processes and is considered a "blueprint for the future of manufacturing" by the World Economic Forum.

Böck founded ChopValue Manufacturing Ltd. in 2016 as a practical example of a viable circular economy based on under-utilized resources, dubbed "urban harvesting". With over 150,000,000 chopsticks repurposed, the company is now expanding its Microfactory concept globally through franchising.
