| Grace Shao has started a communications consultancy, Proem Communications. The consultancy aims to work alongside clients to develop media strategies, enhance fundraising profiles, position them for international market entries and handle crisis management.
Beyond client work, she often writes commentary pieces on corporate governance and tech and AI development for international publications. She also serves as the Co-Chair at the Marketing and Communications Committee of CanCham HK.
Based in Hong Kong, Grace has worked with FGS Global as a Director and Alibaba Group as Corporate Affairs manager. Before moving into comms, Grace reported on Asia's technology and business for CNBC and CGTN in Singapore and Beijing. Grace has also written for Fortune, The Diplomat, SCMP, Yahoo Finance and more.
